February’s free PlayStation Plus games are now available to download for all players subscribed to the service. Luckily for players, Sony is currently offering a bonus PSVR title for this month’s roster of free PS Plus games, which hopefully, becomes a regular thing. The full list of free games is as follows: BioShock: The Collection, The Sims 4, and Firewall: Zero Hour, and they are available starting today until March 2.

Now, players on the PS4 who are not yet members of PS Plus, or those who are looking to extend their current subscriptions would be happy to know that Newegg is once again offering a deep discount for a one-year subscription to Sony’s online service. The limited-time promotion is offering 12 months access to PS Plus for only $39.99, which is $20 off its usual price of $59.99.

It is worth noting that Newegg displays the full price on its page, but players interested in getting the deal can simply enter the promo code EMCDFDH32 upon check out, and Newegg will automatically deduct $20 from the purchase. It is worth remembering that Newegg’s deal will end in two days, so players interested in joining PS Plus to get this month’s free games should act now while the offer still stands.

For new PS4 owners, PS Plus is a monthly subscription service that gives players access to most online and multiplayer features of the console. The service also provides access to a roster of free games that players can try out for a limited period before they are replaced with a new set of games. Sony’s PlayStation Plus is similar to the services offered by its competitors such as Nintendo’s Switch Online, and Microsoft’s Xbox Live Gold.

Meanwhile, Sony reported recently that over 37% of PS4 owners, or 38.8 million players, are currently subscribed to PlayStation Plus. The company noted that subscriptions rose by 2 million in 2019, and continues to grow even as the PS4 is nearing the end of its lifecycle with the PS5 on the horizon. Although Microsoft does not disclose the number of players that are currently subscribed to Xbox Live Gold, it is worth noting that the entire userbase of the Xbox One is 41 million, which is just a little bit higher than the reported subscribers of Sony’s service alone.
