8 ARMS

ARMS is a unique fighting game on the Nintendo Switch that is really unique and quirky. Instead of using actual weapons to battle against each other, the characters use their long, spring-loaded arms.

This game’s unique style is definitely one that makes it appealing to kids. It’s pretty quirky and fun, but the fact that it’s so appealing to children doesn’t mean that we don’t also love it as adults. If you’re someone that likes unique games or fighting games (or both!), this game is one to check out.

7 Animal Crossing: New Leaf

Even though some of the villagers in the Animal Crossing series have some questionable pieces of dialogue, these games are definitely still aimed at children. These games involve having the character move into a new town and they become friends with all the animals living there.

Animal Crossing: New Leaf was released on the Nintendo 3DS and is still a favorite game on that system for many people. Even though this game series is somewhat aimed toward children, the games are still a ton of fun for people of any age.

6 Spyro Reignited Trilogy

Spyro Reignited Trilogy is the remastered re-release of the original three games in the Spyro series. This series is one that began in the late 1990s, meaning that a lot of adults now grew up playing the games.

In these games, the player controls a young dragon named Spyro who has to free all the other dragons by collecting crystals. This game is one that is aimed at kids, but it’s a ton of fun, so it totally draws in adults, too. Plus, many people are nostalgic after playing it as a kid, so really love the games.

5 All The LEGO Games

Although most people think of building with tiny plastic pieces or being in excruciating pain after stepping on one when they think about LEGO, there’s a lot more to these toys these days. There are LEGO games for just about every franchise out there from superheroes to Harry Potter and everything in between.

They were originally released on the PlayStation in the ’90s, but have since seen a new home on modern consoles, giving a new generation of gamers a chance to experience these games.

These games have a lot of silly fun in them that definitely appeals to kids. Since most people who played these games in the ’90s played them as children, they can be seen as “kids’ games” to a lot of people. 3 All The Pokémon Games

The Pokémon games have been coming out since the 1990s and the main games in the series all have the same basic idea: your character travels around a certain region collecting, training, and battling Pokémon and other Pokémon trainers.

The Pokémon games definitely have a younger target audience. Although these games are incredibly popular and enjoyed by gamers of all ages, all over the world, we can’t deny that they’re pretty much designed for kids. But, they’re fun for adults, too. This means these games are perfect for a night with friends, a family game night, or just practicing solo against the computer.

1 Just Dance

Who said video games can’t get you up and moving? While most video games involve sitting down with a controller in your hands to play, the Just Dance games are a little different. These games have you up and dancing along to a hit song while the characters on the screen show you the moves to copy.

These games are a lot of fun, especially if you’re playing with a group of people, and are definitely appealing to younger audiences. But, the fact that they’re aimed at kids doesn’t mean that us adults don’t also love to get up and dance!
