MW2 has quickly become one of the most popular recent releases in the CoD franchise as evidenced by its record-breaking launch. However, the constant complaints that the player base manages to put out seem to indicate that they still aren’t fully satisfied with the game.
Although some of the criticism is understandable, this continuous barrage of negative comments from the player base puzzles prominent streamer and 100 Thieves founder, Nadeshot. In a recent MW2 stream, the notable CoD pro stated that he “doesn’t really understand where a lot of the hate comes from.”
Nadeshot further stated the following in the clip: “Why are we still talking about each Call of Duty every single year? Like, it’s the worst thing that’s ever been created. It’s really not all that different every single year. We know that the game’s not going to be finished when they release it.”
But he then follows up by saying that “at the end of the day, the core foundational part of Modern Warfare 2 [works]” and that “you know what to expect at this point” with each CoD launch. Having been involved in the franchise since his early days playing professionally with OpTiC Gaming, Nadeshot definitely has a unique perspective that not many other players can boast.
“I guess I’m not exhausted by people’s hate for the game. I’m just exhausted by the same thing happening every year,” he notes before jumping into a Warzone 2 match. These comments from the popular streamer is more than likely going to draw the ire of a large portion of the community. However, he does seem to have a point as these repetitive cycle of complaints do seem to occur with every CoD release.
