Being a parent is one of the most challenging but rewarding experiences in life. Once they are brought into this world, it is the parents’ prior responsibility to make sure their newborn child is taken care of. As a parent, you will make mistakes, but what is more important is that you get to watch your children grow up and see how far they will make it in life. Their first day of school, getting to drive a car, and finally graduating is one of the most important moments in their lives, and it will make you ask yourself, “Where has the time gone?”

Cartoon characters might have experienced parenthood whether in the canon plot to the show or be fan made with fan art of fanfiction. Seeing them become parents is one of the sentimental things ever. Not only did they grow up with us, but they make us realize we have gotten older without even noticing it. Even if some of us are not parents yet, we would have the same amount of pride and joy after seeing the cartoon characters have children.

A lot of fans have wondered how their favorite cartoon characters would handle when it comes to starting a family. There are also some that are already parents, but might experience the joy of having another addition to the family. The thoughts certainly give us emotional reactions, but in a good way.

Do you feel old yet, because here are childhood cartoons reimagined as parents!

25 One Big Happy Family

Phineas and Ferb was a spectacular cartoon that focuses on two stepbrothers who want to have the best summer ever. They would usually be visited by the adorable Isabella, who would always ask Phineas, “Whatcha doin’?” Her crush on the redhead boy was adorable, but when the episode of them in high school aired, fans of them together were so happy that they confessed their feelings for each other.

Ferb fell in love with Vanessa at first sight, and it was also too cute to see the quiet Ferb fall in love with Doofenshmirtz’s daughter. While they are not together, in the end, it is still possible since they are also a popular pairing in the show. The four in the future as parents makes our hearts scream and wonder how the boys popped the question. They would easily be one big happy family.

24 An Addition To The Family

Yes, Homer and Marge are already parents, but the idea of them having a fourth child is thought-provoking. By the looks of the picture, everyone except Homer seems pretty happy. Homer might not be the brightest person, but he had his moments of being a caring father. Perhaps he is just worried about the bills he will have to pay in the future.

Plus, it is cool to know that the fourth child inherited Marge’s blue hair! Homer and Marge are one of the strangest yet strongest couples whether it is in cartoon or live-action shows. They faced tough obstacles in their lives, but no matter what, they still love each other. Since The Simpsons is still on the air, it would be interesting to see Homer and Marge have another child along the way, but it is unlikely at the moment.

23 Would Make A Surprisingly Good Dad

Johnny Bravo seems like an unusual cartoon character to be a father, but since this fan art exists, it does make us question the possibility of Johnny being a parent. When it comes to dating, Johnny sucks at it, since most women would hit him as if they find him offensive. As kids, we felt bad for him.

So, what happened now?

Maybe he found a surrogate mother to carry his child, or he actually ended up with a woman who respects and loves him. Regardless of the situation, Johnny would make an adorable dad. Having a son that resembles him greatly sounds super cute. It is even possible that he can attract the ladies if he brought his baby out in public. If it works in his favor, then that would be awesome.

22 Still Working Hard

Jessica Rabbit from Who Framed Roger Rabbit is one of the most attractive and gorgeous ladies in cartoon history. Yet, she is married to a rabbit, but despite the strangeness, they do make a wonderful and strong couple. Just pretend that Jessica did not have any type of fun with Roger Rabbit because it is a strange idea of being pregnant with a rabbit.

Even though she has a bun in the oven, Jessica still looks great as ever. What’s very impressive is that she still managed to keep her great figure despite having a baby bump. It would be interesting to see Jessica as a mother, raising her child with unconditional love and giving them all the attention while the father goes to work. Maybe her child will share their father’s love for carrot cake once they get older.

21 Too Cute For Words

One of the best cartoons to come from Cartoon Network in the 2000s is definitely Code Lyoko. Seeing four teens (later five in the later seasons) fight in the world of Lyoko was engaging and we cheered as Aelita restores the simulation before XANA could take over. Two characters by the name of Yumi and Ulrich were a joy to watch, especially when it comes to their feelings for each other.

Yumi never had feelings for William anyway.

We like to think that Yumi and Ulrich end up getting married and having a child since they have great chemistry and often see them blush when asked about their feelings for one another. Right now, we only have fanfiction and fan art to gush over, but anything is possible.

20 Hopefully Not Meddling Kids

Our childhoods would not be complete if Scooby-Doo had not been on our TV screens. Seeing the gang solving mysteries was an adventure for us and it was a fun time. We will never forget Scooby and Shaggy’s love for food and cowardliness, Velma’s catchphrase “Jinkies!” and Fred and Daphne’s budding relationship. If these two were to start a family, they would have adorable kids.

Hopefully, they won’t be meddling kids.

In each incarnation of the characters, Fred and Daphne are the ones that would end up together. A lot of direct-to-video movies and TV shows focus on their relationship from time to time. Even the live-action films slowly built their relationship, with the sequel having them be in a confirmed relationship. Let’s hope that these two will always be faithful to each other.

19 A Whole New World For Them

Aladdin and Jasmine have been through thick and thin from their time together. They formed a mutual understanding since Aladdin always wanted to be a prince, while Jasmine wanted to be away from the Sultan’s Palace. Then they grew closer and fall in love. In the movies and TV show, we get to see their wonderful relationship bloom and even go through obstacles at times.

In the end, it was worth it for them.

Who can imagine Aladdin being an endearing dad to his newborn child while Jasmine watches when she needs a break? Especially with how Aladdin grew up as a street rat, he would make sure his child would have anything it wants. Whether the heir to the throne is a king or queen, Jasmine and Aladdin will make sure that they are a part of their world.

18 Epic Power Couple

The Legend of Korra was a very strong successor to Avatar: The Last Airbender. It might not have enough attention compared to its predecessor, but the characters were just as memorable and strong. Korra had the hots for Mako, but later on in the show, she and Asami grew closer, only to finally be confirmed to be a couple!

So imagining them being parents is very wonderful and sweet. Not only did them as a couple greatly help represent the LGBT community, but we get to see them develop into two women who care for each other greatly. While the ending is left ambiguous, the creators confirmed that Korra and Asami are canon. Their bond felt whole and complete and seeing them go to the Spirit World together sparked the beginning of their wonderful relationship.

17 Excited To Be An Aunt

Ever since Frozen was released in 2013, fans have been going crazy for how amazing the film is, and yeah, it is a great movie. Having a princess become a queen was something we have never seen before, and having the concept of true love be taken in a different approach was truly unique. If Elsa were to have children, she would have to hope and pray that they do not have to be isolated unlike her, due to her ice powers.

Anna would definitely be a doting aunt.

She would be an amazing mom too, and Kristoff would be a goofy yet adorkable dad. When it comes to who would be Elsa’s husband, that is currently impossible to figure out. Even if she does not end up with a man, due to many outcries for Elsa to have a girlfriend, she would still be a great mom.

16 Simply A Beauty

Belle is one of the most elegant and classy Disney Princesses. Her self-sacrifice to save her father from being imprisoned at the Beast’s castle made us respect her. She is also a very smart woman, who would love to live in a house full of books. Her relationship with the Beast shows us that appearance is not everything and it is a lesson we need in our lives.

Once the two start a family, you bet that Belle would be so nurturing and sweet. According to The Descendants, Belle and Beast end up having a son named Ben, and he certainly takes after them. While it is not completely canon, it is an interesting idea. Whenever she needs to, Belle would be there for her child in whatever they need help in.

15 Geeky Parents

If you can name a couple that always bickered, but can always rely on each other, it would be Jimmy and Cindy from The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius. Since they are kids, they would get on each other’s nerves, but eventually, the two would end up becoming an item. Even though they are not teenagers yet, they still care for each other would make the best out of their relationship.

Jimmy and Cindy would be the true definition of geeky parents.

If you noticed, the two kids do look like Jimmy and Cindy as little kids, but they can also be looked at as their own children. They would have a blast with Jimmy’s inventions, just as long as they do not get into too much mischief.

14 Such A Great Dad

Even though DC Comics have brought us amazing superheroes with awesome powers, they managed to create fantastic characters who was born without supernatural abilities. Dick Grayson, the first Robin, is one of them. He trained under Batman and learned how to be a detective and crime fighter. Later on, he would be in the team Teen Titans. The cartoon was epic with its anime-inspired art style as well as mature themes.

Who else paired up Robin and Starfire together?

Despite not being the endgame couple, they do end up having a daughter named Mar’i Grayson in another universe. Their daughter would probably be a daddy’s little girl, as seen by numerous fan arts of them together. Dick being a dad is not only cute, but he would be very protective of his little girl too.

13 Being Cautious

Who would have thought that the prince of all Saiyans would be such a spectacular dad? Before he met Bulma, Vegeta was so prideful and vain. His rivalry with Goku, or Kakarot, as he calls him, is one of the memorable parts of the show. Once he and Bulma eventually have Trunks, his view on life changed, and he would risk his own life to ensure the safety of his wife and son.

He became a very proud father.

Bulma is an outstanding mother for having to handle a half-Saiyan kid, but she managed to make it work! Even when they have a daughter named Bulla, you can see how very protective he is of her. Goku might be stronger in terms of fighting, but what he does not have is the capability of being an amazing father, unlike Vegeta.

12 Future Family

Ever since the TV special “Channel Chasers” aired on Nickelodeon, we were so invested in how Timmy Turner eventually started his own family. The Fairly OddParents has its share of pairings, such as Timmy and Trixie and Timmy and Tootie. The latter has such a major crush on Timmy that it is just too cute to pass it up.

It is likely possible that Tootie and Timmy end up together.

The kids have strong resemblances to both Tootie and Trixie, but if you were to consider the live-action movies canon, then Tootie ends up with Timmy. In “Channel Chasers,” the kids’ names are Tammy and Tommy, and they are presumably twins since they do look the same age. Even though we did not get to see much of Timmy being a parent, we are sure that he would be very dedicated to them despite having to hire a robotic babysitter.

11 Welcoming Gift

How long did it take for Naruto to realize Hinata had strong feelings for him? Apparently, a lot of years! Thankfully, The Last: Naruto the Movie gave us some closure on Hinata and Naruto as comrades turned lovers. When they kissed, fangirls screamed undeniably loud and rejoiced in NaruHina being one of the confirmed pairings.

Later on, we get to see them raise a family.

This fan art is very touching due to it being their first child, which would eventually be their son Boruto. Naruto and Hinata have been through time times, going so far as to endanger their lives for each other. Not much is shown for Naruto and Hinata being parents, but there is no doubt that they love their son, and later daughter, unconditionally.

10 Kataang For The Win

Avatar: The Last Airbender was a show that was ahead of its time. The show gave us brilliantly written characters, an epic story, and morals that stick to use like glue. When it comes to the shipping on the show, some people are crazy for Katara and Zuko, but in the end, Aang and Katara were meant for each other. This beautiful fan art showcases the lovely pair with a child along the way, most likely their youngest one Tenzin, who would later become Korra’s mentor in The Legend of Korra.

Just look at how at peace these two are. They have overthrown the Fire Nation and managed to save the Air Nomads’ existence. As parents, they are just filled with joy that they are in their personal heaven. We are just so happy that this amazing cartoon came into our lives.

9 Heir To The Moon Kingdom

In some cartoons, the main characters might have already been parents, but we do not get to see them raise their children since it is not really the main focus of said show. Sailor Moon follows Usagi Tsukino or Serena in the old English dub. She, along with her friends, transform into Sailor Guardians of their respective parents. Little did Usagi know was that she will eventually have a daughter named Usagi, but goes by Chibi-Usa.

Hers and Mamoru’s reaction from finding this out was hilarious. They were fated to be together, but seeing them react to King Endymion’s response to Chibi-Usa being their future daughter is delightful. Even though it is confirmed in the story, it would have been interesting to see how Usagi and Mamoru would raise their future daughter.

8 Hey Parenthood!

Hey Arnold! is one of those cartoons that stood the test of time. It dealt with lessons that are serious but keep the show light since it is aimed towards kids at the time. One of the interesting parts of the show is Helga’s confusing feelings for Arnold. You know the phrase that goes, “When a girl teases you, that means they like you.” That is exactly how her feelings for Arnold plays out.

We get to see two sides of her and it plays out quite well. She must be very happy to end up with him in the end. These two were made for each other despite Helga acting cold towards him at first. If Arnold and Helga were to start a family, this fan art really captures the moment very beautifully.

7 Definitely A Possibility

South Park is the least likely to have one of the four main boys to have ideas of starting a family, but fans can dream, right? In this fan art of some sorts, we see Stan and Wendy with their son. Who knows if they even want children, but since Stan is the most tender and sensitive of the four boys, so he is the most likely to consider this.

Stan and Wendy might have done some crazy stuff that should have happened until they are older, but they are a one of a kind couple. They get into fights but reconcile, just like every other couple. It is possible that because of their problems with each other, they learn to handle them and better themselves. They might argue over stupid stuff when they become parents, but they can always rely on each other.

6 Part Of Their World

It is crazy to believe that Ariel was the first Disney Princess to have a child. Yeah, the sequel is not that good, but seeing Ariel and Eric have their daughter Melody really opens up the possibility of other Disney Princesses having kids after happily ever after. And by the looks of this fan art, they have another addition to the family, a cute son!

There is a strong resemblance to his father, and just like Melody, he might become a merman in the future. The thought of a singing merman also sounds very beautiful. If there is one family that can have a story expanded upon, Ariel’s family might as well fit the bill! Just as long as there are no more disappointing Disney sequels along the way.
