A Japanese doll company, Volks, has announced that it’s creating doll versions of 2B and 9S from Automata. Possibly aware that NieR: Automata was well received outside of Japan too, they tweeted the announcement in English as well.
The specific doll type is called a Dollfie Dream, which was created by Volks. They’re kind of like a Barbie doll, but more poseable (and, at 60 cm, quite a bit taller than a standard Barbie). They have clothes and hair, so aren’t like the typical display figures that game characters are usually made into. No pricing or release info yet, alas.

Here’s an example of one of Volks’ dolls, for some reference. The site is also interesting. The dolls are very customiseable.
