30 Take Part In Some Bat Woohooing

With The Sims 4: Vampire expansion, there are tons of brand new features that have been added! Obviously, Sims can now become Vampires, and in doing so gain access to some really cool powers. Sleeping in coffins, drinking blood, and staying out of the sunlight are all typical vampire things that your Sim will now enjoy. You can invest some power points into transforming into a bat, and this is where the fun stuff begins. If your Sim is feeling particularly frisky, they can partake in some fun times with another vampire Sim!

29 Participate In “The Purge”

The Seasons expansion for The Sims 4 has brought a lot of new events and holidays to the Sims universe. Most are very lighthearted and fun, but one of them takes things over the edge. “Neighbourhood Brawl” will allow your Sims to live out their dream of participating in The Purge. When this holiday is active, your neighborhood will descend into chaos. Fights happen on every corner, and you are encouraged to fight and battle with anyone and everyone you come across. Here’s the best part: there are no consequences. No relationships are affected by the events.

28 Solve A Lighthouse Mystery

If you have an adventurous pup or cat, thanks to the Cats and Dogs expansion, you can go on adventures with your loving companion! The Brindleton Lighthouse is known as the perfect place for a secret romantic getaway. Having some woohoo in the lighthouse will even give your Sims a very powerful positive moodlet. What not many people know, though, is that you can explore the lighthouse in a very different way. Over the course of many rabbit hole events, you and your pet can explore the lighthouse and discover all of its hidden mysteries. No spoilers here!

27 Snow Globe Collection

Snow globes are a fun new type of collectible found in The Sims 4: City Living. There are 15 snow globes to find scattered throughout San Myshuno, so go out and explore! You can even speak to other Sims about your snow globe collection, and offer to trade with their collection. Some players have noticed that the snow globes take a while to load into the game, so when you arrive at a new location take some time to chat up other Sims before starting your search. You can find all snow globe locations with this handy dandy collectible guide!

26 Buy New Fancy Spices

With The Sims 4: City Living, there are two regular festivals that occur: the Spice festival, and the Flea Market. The latter of the two takes place on Sundays between 10am and 6pm. The Spice Market takes place every Friday between 5pm and 1am, and offers a large range of tasty foods on sale at the various food stalls. Your Sim can partake in a spicy eating contest, learn new recipes, and buy some fancy new spices to spice up their home cooking routine! To use the spices, you have to visit a food stall, have a high enough cooking skill, and know the recipe.

25 Meet A Ghost Couple

Explore more haunted locations than ever before, thanks to The Sims 4: Get Together. Start out your ghost search in Windenburg, as it is known to have many haunted locations. When you visit the Von Haunt Estate, you may just be lucky enough to come across an elderly ghost couple. Follow them around the property to learn about their lives together. They are particularly keen to hang around the hedge maze, but that’s all you’ll hear from me! The rest you need to find out for yourself.

24 Busking Via Karaoke

The Sims 4: City Living added Karaoke Bars! Now your Sim can sing like the best of them, showing off their chops and proving their worth to their fellow Sims! With the addition of Karaoke, there is also the addition of the singing skill. Sims can practice singing from anywhere, just select them and the pop up will appear! Planet Honey Pop and Waterside Warble are the two Karaoke Bar locations, but you can also have a karaoke machine in your Sim’s very own home. To gain a bit of extra cash, feel free to busk on the street.

23 Adopt A Stray

Cats and Dogs added the ability for Sims to buy and adopt certain animals. You can do this online or with your phone, but true Simmers know that you can actually adopt the stray animals that wander Deadgrass Isle and other areas. However, you can’t just pick up a stray dog and bring them home. The pet has to choose you just as much as you choose the pet. Spend lots of quality time with your new furry friend to build up your relationship, and you will eventually be given the option of adopting them.

22 Deal With A Haunted Apartment

In The Sims 4: City Living, we gain access to many new districts to live in, with many new apartment buildings to choose from. While designing the expansion, the EA team entertained each other with stories of their androids, crazy roommates, and cursed apartments. They wanted to incorporate all of that into the game, and thus made all apartments have their own unique quirks! Quirks can range from being infested with pesky pests, earthquakes, and even being haunted! Good luck moving a neurotic Sim into a haunted apartment all on their own!

21 Make New Year Resolutions

With the Seasons expansion pack, we get to enjoy all things summer, spring, fall, and winter. Holidays are now a huge part of your Sim’s life, and they can even affect their day to day activities. While celebrating New Year’s Eve, you can take part in the tradition of making new year resolutions! Just select a resolution from the given list, and you are good to go. The game will even highlight ones that go with your Sim’s traits and aspirations. Using this new feature is a great way for you to earn some extra reward points.

20 Dress Your Pets Up In Outrageous Costumes

You’ve seen them, those adorable babies on Halloween with adorable costumes, like a baby bat, a baby ladybug, a baby villain. Now you’ve also probably seen some poor chihuahua shoved into one of said baby costumes, and now you get to do that too in The Sims 4: Cats and Dogs! These costumes are made to fit your pet, so you don’t have to worry about any negative moodlets. The possibilities are vast, with different costumes available for both cats and dogs! Right now I’m personally riding high on the sandwich outfit, but there are just so many options!

19 Control Crowds Of Sims With Music

The DJ Skill is a welcome addition to The Sims 4, thanks to the Get Together expansion pack. Multiple DJ booths have been added to buy mode, with varying degrees of customization. Sims can even host parties at The Bluff or The Ruins, and they both come with a sweet DJ and dance floor setup. Once you have a party going, and you have a high enough DJ Skill, your Sim can manipulate the crowd. Using the Feel the Crowd interaction allows you to affect the Sims emotions… Mind control with music!

18 Build A Basketball Hoop

Basketball was introduced in The Sims 4: City Living expansion pack. As part of the fitness skill, your Sim can also gain fun while playing basketball either alone or with a group. There are various basketball courts and hoops to find in San Myshuno, and you can also build your own! All you need is enough space and funds, and you’re ready to build a hoop inside your home or outside on your lot. Sims can coach other Sims on their basketball technique, and can even challenge other Sims to dunking matches.

17 Befriend Bees

With a bee box, bees will visit your garden during the warmer seasons, and you can use them to your advantage. Treat them right, and you just might have some new playable options open up to you. You can ask your bees to cheer up your Sim if they’re feeling angry or sad, and if you’re lucky enough they can even bring your Sim some gifts! The bees can also take care of your plants, and using the pollinate option will result in your garden getting both a growth and quality boost!

16 Master The Pipe Organ Skill

With all of the amazing vampiric additions from The Sims 4: Vampires, there is one added skill that seems to have flown completely under the radar. Gone are the boring days of slaving away on the guitar or the violin, now your Sim can take on an entirely new challenge: The Pipe Organ. Similar to the piano, but far more awesome, your Sim can play haunting music on this magical instrument that can actually conjure real ghosts! If you’re a vampire yourself, you have a chance at gaining a +2 inspiration moodlet from playing the pipe organ.

15 Graffiti Others’ Art

Graffiti is one of the new hobbies that was added to the game with the City Living expansion pack. This hobby allows you to create art wherever you go, with the help of some handy dandy cans of spray paint. Your Sim can work alone or with others, creating murals anywhere they please! These murals do deteriorate over time, so be sure to restore them whenever you notice they are becoming a bit patchy. If you don’t like someone else’s art, don’t be afraid to show it! Defacing the creation of others will allow your Sim to gain some mischief skill in the process.

14 Create The Perfect Corgi

Most Simmers love using the Create A Sim feature, while others prefer to always use pre-made Sims to complete their playthroughs. With The Sims 4: Cats and Dogs, you can actually create your perfect pet using the Create A Sim! The features are various, allowing you to choose fur type/color/length, body shape and size, featured characteristics, and personality traits. You can even make a tiny little corgi who is ready to sploot on the couch with you, just make sure you choose the “Couch Potato” personality trait!

13 Deal With A Landlord

When you live in an apartment with The Sims 4: City Living expansion, you’ll probably come across your landlord. Each apartment building has one, and you better stay on their good side! A landlord in The Sims 4 is able to make or break your Sim’s life while they live under their roof, so be sure to pay your rent on time and make an effort with the small talk! Should something break in your apartment, you don’t need to have your busy Sim waste time repairing it, and you don’t need to spend money replacing it!

12 Start Your Own Ice-Cream Parlour

If you’re lucky enough to have The Sims 4: Dine Out expansion pack, your Sims can now become restauranteurs. This pack has added a vast array of restaurants for all Sims to enjoy, but you now also have the option of starting up a restaurant of your own. Creating a restaurant is very similar to creating retail shops in Get To Work. Just like the retail shops, these restaurants are entirely customizable, with the player deciding their theme, decor, staff, and food. Did someone say 50s Diner Ice-Cream Parlour? Count me in!

11 Eavesdrop On Your Neighbours

Just like in real life, apartment walls can be a little thin, especially when living in some of the cheaper districts. While your Sim is living the apartment life, they’ll have to deal with some of the downsides of living in such proximity to other strange Sims. Overnight your Sim can have a bit of trouble sleeping due to noisy neighbors. This can be due to their loud music, or the not-as-occasional-as-you’d-prefer romp between the sheets. Being woken up by noisy neighbors gives your Sim a negative moodlet!
