Like it or not, another 4chan “leaker” claims knowledge of upcoming Nintendo secrets. This time they claim to know the contents of an entire Nintendo Direct, which will allegedly reveal the next two Super Smash Bros. Ultimate DLC fighters, the evolutions of Pokémon Sword and Shield’s starters, Animal Crossing news, and something to do with Minecraft.

This report comes from GameRant, and says that the leaker claims Crash Bandicoot is coming to Ultimate. He’ll be announced in a November 13 Direct with a December release date. While that may seem like just another dream-come-true “leak” that someone is putting out there to get attention, GameRant notes that Crash has been the subject of previous leaks.

The leaker gives a very brief description of Crash’s supposed reveal, describing a beach with a TNT crate. This goes along with a the previous leak that says Crash’s stage will be the beach of Wumpa island. Furthermore, a December release makes a lot of sense. Nintendo might want to push Smash, along with Sword & Shield, to sell Switches this holiday season. Crash would certainly drive DLC sales more than November DLC fighter Terry Bogard.

Those who are excited for Terry, however, have something to look forward to in this leak. The supposed November 13 Direct will also announce Terry’s availability that same day. He’ll supposedly bring with him a slew of Mii Fighter costumes based on other SNK games. After that, the leak starts to get into “too good to be true” territory.

The Smash portion of the leak will also surprise viewers with a Minecraft DLC. There won’t be a fighter, but there will be a stage, Mii Costume, and Creeper Assist Trophy. Finally, Fighters Pass 2 will be teased by a slashing katana, heralding the arrival of Ryu Hayabusa from Ninja Gaiden.

That would be enough for a Nintendo Direct all on its own, but apparently there will also be Pokémon and Animal Crossing reveals. Sword & Shield will be two days away from release at that point, but that allegedly won’t stop Nintendo from revealing the final evolutions of the three starter Pokémon. They will be, as other leaks have said, a soccer rabbit, a chameleon spy, and a giant gorilla. Animal Crossing for Switch, meanwhile, will announce that every villager from every previous game will be able to come to the player’s town.

When it comes to 4chan leaks, wariness isn’t just recommended. It’s downright necessary. A lot of this information seems too amazing to all exist in one Direct. These are E3-quality reveals. On the other hand, the holiday season is a big deal for gaming companies. Maybe bombarding viewers with huge updates on three of the biggest Switch games is a deliberate tactic to drive Black Friday sales. There will be some nice discounts on both versions of Switch, after all.
