86% of all consoles sold in the UK during Black Friday week were PS4s and Xbox Ones, GFK Chart-Track has revealed. That’s an 11% increase over last year’s Black Friday, where PS4 and Xbox One accounted for 75% of console sales.

The figure leaves just 14% of last week’s console sales to Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U, Wii, Nintendo 3DS and PS Vita – although thanks to some cheap 3DS XL deals, expect the majority of them to be attributed to Nintendo’s handheld.

Overall console sales were also up 8% on last year’s Black Friday, although it isn’t yet clear which came out on top. In the US, PS4 is reported (though not confirmed) to have been the preferred console.

Software sales, meanwhile, are actually down year-on-year, with 9% fewer units sold last week than during 2014’s Black Friday, leading to a 10% decrease in revenue.

The best-selling game, meanwhile, was FIFA 16, which landed at this week’s No.1 despite sales of Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection soaring by 999%.
