Bubble Bobble, the classic arcade platformer from the 1980s, will return with a sequel for the Nintendo Switch.
Developed by Taito, Bubble Bobble 4 Friends is a co-op title for two to four players that refreshes the retro original with soft, toony 2.5 visuals. Players will play as either green Bubblun, blue Bobblun, yellow Cucurun or pink Cororon, and wreak multiplayer mayhem. There’s even a stage that riffs off Space Invaders, another gem in Taito’s crown.
Bubble Bobble 4 Friends will launch in Europe on November 19 for Nintendo Switch. Watch the announcement trailer below.
