Activision Blizzard and King Digital Entertainment have announced the completion of the acquisition of King for a total equity value of $5.9 billion.
King is best known for it hugely successful Candy Crush mobile games.
The acquisition makes Activision Blizzard the largest game network in the world, reaching over 500 million users.

King will continue to be led by chief executive officer Riccardo Zacconi, chief creative officer Sebastian Knutsson, and chief operating officer Stephane Kurgan, and operate as an independent unit of Activision Blizzard.
