Alien: Isolation will arrive on the Nintendo Switch through the eShop on December 5, 2019 (via VGC).

Alien: Isolation is scary. Trapped on a decrepit space station, Amanda Ripley must explore the abandoned and bloodsoaked station to work out what happened to its crew. Turns out that they’ve been skewered and sliced by an Alien who hatched from a chestburster brought back from LV-426. Big things have small beginnings. The game makes excellent use of what we see in the films, for example, the motion tracker will locate the Alien but the beeping will draw it to Amanda. The Alien’s AI is procedural too so that the player won’t be able to predict what it will do, but it will continue to learn from the player’s action on each encounter.

If that all sounds terrible, then developer Creative Assembly has got news for you! Now that the game is coming to the Nintendo Switch as well as its releases on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, there is no escape from the Xenomorph. Hooray! Creative Assembly collaborated with Feral Interactive for the Switch version, and it will have unique features. It includes all of the DLC for Alien: Isolation, and will use gyroscopic aiming and HD rumble to make those moments when it suddenly stabs you through the spine all the more thrilling.

Alien: Isolation will touch down on the Nintendo eShop on December 5, 2019, and will be priced at £29.99 or $34.99. Watch the launch date reveal trailer below.
