UPDATE: Microsoft has altered its post, removing the commitment to release every future Microsoft Studios-published title on both PC and Xbox.

ORIGINAL STORY: Every game published by Microsoft Studios in the future will support Xbox Play Anywhere, the platform holder has confirmed. That means that all new Microsoft games will be playable across both PC and Xbox.

The service will debut with the launch of ReCore this September, with future Play Anywhere titles set to include Forza Horizon 3, Scalebound, Gears of War 4 and more. But it also means that unannounced titles currently expected to be in development at Microsoft, like Halo 6 and Forza Motorsport 7, will be available on PC in addition to Xbox.

“With the Xbox Play Anywhere program, you can buy a game once and play on your Windows 10 PC and Xbox One with shared progress, shared game saves and shared achievements,” Windows & Devices Group CVP Yusuf Mehdi said last week. “Every new title published from Microsoft Studios will support Xbox Play Anywhere and will be easily accessible in the Windows Store.”

12 titles have been confirmed for Xbox Play Anywhere so far, although you’ll only get access to both PC and console versions if you purchase them digitally. For the full list, head through here.
