Earlier this year, at Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim, Lucasfilm announced Tales of the Jedi, an anthology of six short films, half of which will follow Ahsoka, while the other three will follow Count Dooku. Now that the series has dropped on Disney+, here are all Tales of the Jedi episode lengths.
During the Tales of the Jedi Panel at Star Wars Celebration, supervising director, Dave Filoni described the juxtaposition of Ahsoka and Dooku’s decisions and experiences as “two paths and two choices.” Filoni, a long-time Star Wars storyteller at the helm of the animated shows The Clone Wars and Rebels, compared these episodes to “tone poems” and acknowledged George Lucas’s continuing influence. As such, the episodes are a bit shorter than that of a usual TV series.
