While only select information is known about the upcoming Assassin’s Creed game, Assassin’s Creed Ragnarok, through a variety of rumors and leaks, some additional leaks have come through in the form of European retail listings for the game’s special editions that will be available come the title’s release.

The other leaked edition is called Assassin’s Creed Ragnarok - Mjolnir Edition for Xbox One on GameStop’s European site. The game is labeled an “Action/RPG” and has a release date listed as “TBD.” An image of the product can be seen below.

Beyond these images, however, there isn’t any information regarding prices, release dates, or plot.

However, it is worth noting that these editions have not been confirmed by Ubisoft yet. As such, it would be best to take this with a grain of salt.

As for what is known about the game via leaks and rumors, Assassin’s Creed Ragnarok will take place during the days of the Vikings and will be set in Central Europe. The map in Ragnarok will be separated by kingdom and the game will have battles of conquest, too.

Perhaps of most significance, the game is believed to be coming out later this year and rumored to be made available on next-gen consoles. The listings above indicate that Assassin’s Creed Ragnarok will be on current-gen platforms. As such, it can be assumed that either this rumor is incorrect or that Assassin’s Creed Ragnarok will be a cross-gen title, much in the style of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag.

If the 2020 release rumor is true, then it is very likely that fans will hear more about the Viking-themed Assassin’s Creed at E3 2020, which may likely include new information on Sony and Microsoft’s next platforms.
