Its October 11th folks and the official release date of NHL 23 is now three days away. With the NHL regular season set to commence in North America today, the anticipation and hype has taken full form and is only increasing with each passing day.

But adding to the excitement, is the fact that NHL 23 has an early access period for fans to get a firsthand look and feel for what the new game has in store for them. With a variety of new features to explore and try out, the early access period is a great way to get a jumpstart on your favorite modes while assessing the quality the newest game has to offer.

NHL 23: Early Access Period

The early access period for NHL 23 began today, October 11th, 2022, at 12AM ET. For those interested in participating in the 3-day early access period, you must pre-order the X-Factor Edition of NHL 23.

Though it does come with a bit of a steep price at $99.99 (no matter the console generation you own), the X-Factor Edition does provide several great items and perks that you can receive along with the early access period should you pre-order it.

NHL 23: EA Play Early Access

Similarly to that of both Madden 23 and FIFA 23, EA Play subscribers will receive a 10-hour early access period.

EA Play’s early access period began yesterday, October 10th, 2022 at 1PM ET. Fans can start their 10-hour window of playtime with no commitment, and should they like what they see in the new game, their early access progress from their EA Play trial will get transferred upon purchasing it.

The early access period for NHL 23 began today, October 11th, at 12AM ET.

For those interested in participating in the 3-day early access period, you must pre-order the X-Factor Edition of the game.

All EA Play subscribers do have an early access 10-hour trial period. The NHL 23 EA Play Trial commenced yesterday, October 10th, at 1PM ET.
