Modern Warfare 2 gamers desperate to get their hands on the campaign early access are coming up against a message on Xbox saying they’re ‘too early’.
The good news is that there is a fix. All you need to do is restart the console a few times. Eventually, this will let you in.
Elsewhere, on Steam, there were reports of issues too. If you run into anything, try restarting Steam until it lets you download the content packs for MW2. However, at the time of writing, this now seems to be resolved. If not, please follow the steps above.
As is always the way with game launches, there are going to be a few teething issues – but expect Activision to iron these out asap to minimize disruption throughout the launch.
Modern Warfare 2 kicked off early access today – with gamers finally able to get their hands on the stunning campaign.
