Games Done Quick, the bi-yearly (or is it tri-yearly now?) speedrunning event for charity returns this Sunday for AGDQ 2020. It’s marked as the event’s 10th anniversary and once again will bring dozens of speedrunners and hundreds of fans together for a good cause. This time, donations will go to the Prevent Cancer Foundation, which funds cancer research and awareness programs. The event is being held in Orlando, Florida, and begins January 5 at 11:30 a....

According to a report on Deadline, MGM and Warner Bros. are moving forward with a sequel to last year’s Tomb Raider film starring Alicia Vikander. Amy Jump has been hired to pen the script for Tomb Raider 2, and has previously worked on films including High Rise and Free Fire. Vikander is on track to step back into Lara Croft’s hiking boots, although not much else is known about the sequel at present....

EA Games and DICE are sending out the Huey choppers in the next phase of the Battlefield series. Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Vietnam has officially been priced at 1200 MS points or $15 and will be released this winter. The multiplayer expansion pack will include 15 new weapons, six new vehicles, 49 songs from the 60s and four new maps set in Vietnam. EA has limited the information flow about the new expansion pack to a trickle, but released a new trailer that may provide additional insight into the game....
