Fans of LittleBigPlanet 2 are as enthusiastic and creative as ever. Combined with the levels created in the original LittleBigPlanet, the amount of levels that have now been shared online by players stands in at over 4 million. On average, that means that since the release of the original LittleBigPlanet back in October 2008, players have been creating a mind-bending 4400 levels a day. Should someone attempt to play LittleBigPlanet 2 for 12 hours a day, it would take them over 78 years to play through all of the shared levels, according to PlayStation Blog....

Harmonix did not invent the modern, peripheral based music/rhythm game. That distinction rightfully belongs to Konami. HoYoverse has announced the date for the next major Genshin Impact Update with 3.2 ‘Akasha Pulses, the Kalpa Flame Rises’ set for a November 2 launch. After almost 10 years of waiting, Persona 5 has finally arrived as a new edition of Shin Megami Tensei’s very popular game series. It is the sixth installment in the Persona franchise and was just released in 2016. After squandering a lot of their built-in fanbase’s goodwill with Mass Effect: Andromeda, BioWare has quite a bit riding on Anthem’s reception. Another publisher has begun pulling their games from the recently launched GeForce Now streaming service. The latest publisher to make the cut is 2K Games, pulling its full lineup of games, including Borderlands 3, from GeForce Now’s library. Nvidia confirmed the news in a post to its official forums with just a few hours of notice. Nvidia did add that it will continue working with 2K Games in order to re-enable its games in the future....

Bubble Bobble, the classic arcade platformer from the 1980s, will return with a sequel for the Nintendo Switch. Developed by Taito, Bubble Bobble 4 Friends is a co-op title for two to four players that refreshes the retro original with soft, toony 2.5 visuals. Players will play as either green Bubblun, blue Bobblun, yellow Cucurun or pink Cororon, and wreak multiplayer mayhem. There’s even a stage that riffs off Space Invaders, another gem in Taito’s crown....
