Blizzard’s phenomenally successful StarCraft II continues its march towards perfect-play balance between the vastly different Protoss, Terran, and Zerg races with Patch 1.3.3 (released May 10). Naturally, you can’t please everyone, and as StarCraft II play styles and build orders evolve that perfect balance becomes a moving target - but it is nice to see a developer take the comments and play results as seriously as Blizzard does. Casual StarCrafters tend not to notice or care about these kinds of tweaks, but each one makes a difference in the high-level e-sports play that the original StarCraft pioneered....

The onslaught of new PC part releases has been intense these last several weeks. The Ryzen 7000 Series and Intel Raptor Lake CPUs are now out, Intel launched its Arc A770 graphics cards, and Nvidia unleashed the RTX 4090. Next month, the RTX 4080 16GB will also hit the market, and AMD will reveal its Radeon RDNA 3 graphics cards as well. With Netflix’s big push into the gaming sphere, the company is now offering a bunch of games to all subscribers free of charge. The new initiative kicked off last month and has since added some really top-notch titles to its roster. Developer Techland looks set to unveil some major Dying Light 2 details in a live stream the studio has scheduled for later this week. An email sent to various outlets including ourselves here at Videogamer contained a short teaser video attached announcing the livestream and was later posted to the game’s official Twitter account. While no further information was given, our friends at Xbox Achievements also recieved a poster sent via physical mail, which when shown under a UV light also revealed the date for the live stream....
