With Marvel growing more ambitious every year, fans have started digging deeper into each film, television series and trailers to try and piece together the events of new projects before they’ve even been released. Some theories completely miss the mark, while others are much closer to what Marvel Studios has intended for the characters, making it increasingly more difficult for viewers to be surprised. In order to preserve the shock value for their movies, the MCU has started altering their project trailers to steer fans in the wrong direction....

Many Star Wars video games have been released over the past forty years, but few have revolved around a single character. Games like Battlefront, Rogue Squadron, and Lego include a large cast from Star Wars in a combat-centric setting. Through stories about individuals, Disney could have not only action-packed games but also narrative-driven games. Elden Ring continues to crush records and expectations going into the new year. It has now surpassed The Last of Us Part II for the total number of Game of the Year Awards (GOTY) in a single year. In 2020, The Last of Us: Part II (TLOU2) earned 322 awards while Elden Ring (2022) has 330 GOTY awards at the time of this writing. That number is expected to rise as more and more notable members of the gaming community continue to give out their accolades....

A million players have already flocked to Asobo Studio’s rat-riddled A Plague Tale: Requiem. Sharing the milestone on Twitter, publisher Focus Entertainment thanked all those who had embarked on this “incredible journey with Amicia and Hugo” so far. A Plague Tale: Requiem released on 18th October for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S/X (as well as on Xbox Game Pass), and Nintendo Switch via cloud play. Today’s figure includes players from all of these platforms, and doesn’t break anything out in terms of full sales....

Call of Duty: Warzone has been out for just over a year. Since the beginning of the battle royale, various bugs and glitches have been present in the game. The recent Season Two Reloaded update brought an array of new bugs to the game. This includes old glitches such as the invisibility bug, which resulted in helicopters being disabled. Also, some new problems have come to light such as a bug allowing players to be able to shoot while downed in Warzone....

In an interview with gamesindustry.biz, Activision CEO Eric Hirshberg spills the beans on the Call of Duty series, standing behind the yearly release cycle for the series. Comparing it to the releases of Destiny and Destiny 2, Hirshberg said, ‘What we’ve found is that there is more than one good way to do it.’ Expanding on the idea of CoD’s ‘persistence’, Hirshberg said ‘Call of Duty is less of a persistent platform as it is a persistent ethos....

Thanks to a new PSN leak, all Sonic Origins trophies for PlayStation consoles have surfaced online ahead of the game’s official release on June 23, 2022. 505 Games has no plans to bring first-person space experience Adrift to PlayStation VR, the publisher has confirmed. The game debuted on Steam and Oculus Rift back in March and arrived on PS4 today, with many hoping that it would be ported to Sony’s headset this October. But that isn’t the case, a 505 Games spokesperson confirmed to VideoGamer today, telling us: “There are no plans to bring ADR1FT to PSVR at this time....

The Sims 4 is a really fun game that allows players to do just about anything they want. Players are able to create a character, build a house, and control their character’s life. Everything from their job to their love life to the adventures they go on is there for the player to control. Although the base game is a ton of fun already, buying the extra content that has been released for the game adds even more fun....

It’s been a long ride for fans who have been around since the beginning of the MCU. Even though some franchises have dropped in popularity and started to fade out into obscurity, others have risen.
