Gamers who caught the Uncharted 3 footage on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon might have had a few gripes with the ex-Saturday Night Live player turned talk show host. As a self proclaimed gamer, Fallon struggled throughout much of his demo to get any real bearings while controlling Nathan Drake. It’s no fault of Fallon’s, but gamers were most likely looking for an up close and personal look at that burning chateau sequence and Fallon didn’t provide....

In a financial earnings call on Thursday, Activision Blizzard’s COO Coddy Johnson confirmed that ‘new IP initiatives’ are in the works at the company (via The Motley Fool). Activision Blizzard has a cluster of recognisable and prolific IPs under its wing, yet new additions have been few and far between. Blizzard released Overwatch in 2016, and Activision published Destiny and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, but its internal studios specialise in modern entries to classic IPs....

Xbox and Bethesda are holding a Developer_Direct livestream this evening, January 25, to showcase some of what the publisher has in store for 2023. The show was previously rumoured a couple of weeks ago, and has now been confirmed on the Xbox Wire along with details on how and where you can watch the show.
