Developer Survios and 20th Century Fox are partnering on a new Aliens game. It will be a single-player action-horror title, featuring an original story. Survios made the announcement on its website (via Eurogamer), where it said: “This new Aliens game will feature an original storyline, set between the Alien and Aliens films, where a battle hardened veteran has a vendetta against the Xenomorphs. “The game will take full advantage of Survios’ expertise in creating immersive and authentic gaming experiences, and is being developed for the PC, Console, and VR....

Xbox One’s latest system update has started rolling out to all users, finally introducing the console’s long-awaited screenshot functionality. Once the update has been downloaded and installed, Xbox One users are able to grab screenshots of their games by double-tapping the Xbox button and pressing Y. The screenshot can then be shared on your Activity Feed, uploaded to Twitter or saved to OneCloud. The update also makes some changes to Friends functionality, offering further options to display your real name and find new friends....

It appears that a Streets of Rage movie is the next video-game adaptation making its way to cinema screens. As first reported by Deadline, Sega is said to be moving forward with the project alongside dj2 Entertainment. They’re the team behind both of the box office smash hit Sonic the Hedgehog movies. Penning the script is said to be none other than John Wick creator Derek Kolstad, according to Deadline’s sources....
