One thing that can make or break a music game is its soundtrack. Having previously worked on Guitar Hero and Rock Band, Harmonix seems to understand what tracks are appropriate and fun to play in their games. Dance Central, announced at Microsoft’s E3 Press Conference this year, appears set to extend Harmonix’s record of decent track selection. Today Harmonix and MTV Games revealed the complete on-disc track list for Dance Central, and it appears to be what people would expect from a dance game....

With other self-critical developers like Blizzard, the company unveils a feature for their upcoming game and, instead of fine-tuning it, completely revamps its usefulness. A similar Blizzard-esque situation has occurred with Diablo 3’s skill rune system, which can now add a wide variety of secondary effects to a large number of skills in the game....

Fans of Project CARS 2, get ready to race in some new Asian-made rides. The ‘Japanese Car Pack’ DLC has now been released. The official Call of Duty Twitter account has confirmed that soccer superstars Paul Pogba, Neymar Jr., and Lionel Messi will be coming to Modern Warfare 2 (MW2), Warzone 2, and CoD Mobile. The news was revealed by Call of Duty via an image of a locker room with three sets of armor hung up, each with the names of the respective footballers emblazoned upon them. The three stars will be getting their own skins in the three games, tying in nicely with the upcoming World Cup competition taking place later this month in Qatar....
Fortnite’s Dragon Ball Z event has arrived – and brings with it new skins and points of interest. It was confirmed minutes ago on the official Fortnite Twitter – along with a brand new trailer. The tweet reads: “Complete quests in Dragon Ball Adventure Island, use the Kamehameha ability, quickly move around the Island with the Nimbus Cloud (Kintoun) mobility item, and much more.” Son Goku, Vegeta, Bulma, and Beerus have all arrived to the game....

The Dragon Ball series is one of the most beloved anime properties of all time, with millions of fans around the world who have attested to how their lives have been influenced, enriched, or otherwise entertained by the deep universe-spanning world and its multitude of powerful characters. But most of those same fans can also admit that Dragon Ball isn’t exactly beloved for its deep storytelling. Certainly, there are plenty of legitimately memorable moments that have tugged at the heartstrings of fans everywhere (such as Piccolo’s sacrifice to save Gohan, the son of his former enemy, or Goku choosing to remain in the afterlife after the Cell Games in order to spare his friends and family the constant threat of powerful enemies, leaving the protection of Earth in the care of his son… though that self-sacrificial gesture admittedly didn’t stick for very long), but there is also a unanimous admittance that the series as a whole would fall more under “dumb fun” rather than an objective work of excellent writing....
Fallout 3 was Bethesda’s first installment in the long-running series. The game left many fans feeling polarized. They had issues with the story but enjoyed the unique side quests. Even faithful Obsidian Entertainment fans critiqued New Vegas’ glitches and animations. Bethesda tried to solve these issues with Fallout 4 in 2015. Fallout 4opted to remove most role-playing elements to focus on a male or female voiced protagonist. While fans weren’t impressed by the main quest, they praised other portions of the game....
