If there’s anything gamers love more than gaming, it’s probably memes. Video games are the perfect source for memes because of their less-than-realistic graphics, funny AI, and what some like to call “game logic.” Though most games tend to follow real-world rules, sometimes that can look a little ridiculous. Some games, like the two in the Red Dead Redemption series, have so many characters and such an involved storyline it’s hard not to create memes out of them....

The private beta for Halo: The Master Chief Collection’s next title update has been cancelled, 343 has confirmed. Part of the reason for its cancellation, the developer says, is because it would have further delayed the update’s public release. “After further evaluation, the team has determined that that final testing for the content update will be completed internally, and we will not be conducting a beta test for the next CU,” 343 wrote in a new blog post....

Flat Earth Games’ open-world stealth-action space game Objects in Space has been in development for a while now but they are soon releasing it on Steam Early Access. In this game starships are modeled on Cold War era submarines and players take control of their own ship to traverse the Apollo star cluster where there is no contact with Earth. “This is a 90s-style space game but with the huge expectations of a contemporary open-world game,” said Leigh Harris, co-founder of Flat Earth Games....

The second minor series of the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) season begins today January 9th and concludes on the 12th. Featuring a $300k prize pool and 660 DPC points to be shared among eight professional teams, the grand finalist of the tournament will secure the sixteenth spot in the upcoming Major in Leipzig. The tournament features a GSL format group stage and a double-elimination bracket playoff stage. The group stage is comprised of two groups of four wherein the teams will battle it out for one of the four secured spots in the playoff stage....

The second season of Halo Infinite’s multiplayer has just been announced, and 343 Industries has promised plenty of new updates to come for the season of the shooter’s multiplayer. Those updates include new progression challenges, modes, and brand-new maps.
