When the First Strike map pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops was first announced, it got fans around the world — and there are a ton of them — extremely excited. Then, unfortunately, when it was announced that those four new multiplayer maps and one new zombie map were Xbox exclusives, a great many of those fans became considerably less excited. Thankfully, that sadness won’t last much longer. Activision has announced today that the First Strike map pack will be hitting the PS3 on March 3rd, only one month after the release of the maps on the Xbox 360....

Konami has officially announced that it’ll be holding a special event later this week to address the future of the Silent Hill series. The Silent Hill Transmission, as it’s being dubbed, will take place on Wednesday evening, and will reveal “the latest updates for the Silent Hill series”. The Transmission will begin at 2pm PDT – which translates to 10pm UK time or 11pm CEST. We’ve not been given any more information than that....

Though it was considered an underground hit for those gamers who gave it a chance, Darksiders didn’t necessary deliver the breakout numbers industry analysts expected.
