Hey all you Kevin Bacon or subterranean-giant-man-eating worm fans, they finally made a Tremors video game. And guess what? Because it’s been rendered with Blu-ray technology, the cut-scenes use the same graphics as the gameplay. Oh wait, that’s God of War 3. The Tremors game is just a free flash game called Tremerz. The game is only mildly terrible, and follows the “plot” of the first Tremors film, back when the franchise still has potential and hadn’t taken a nosedive into the dirt....

It looks like Two Worlds 3 is coming in 2012. The news of another installment of the Two Worlds franchise and its target release date come from a couple of PR missteps. It all started with some outlets giving Two Worlds 2 less than stellar review scores. Word then spread that TopWare, the game’s developer, was blacklisting outlets that gave Two Worlds 2 scores less than 7/10. As word of the story spread outlets looked to TopWare for an explanation....

I’ve been in love with anime ever since I got my first taste with Pokémon. I can distinctly remember being baffled by the animation style. In a good way, mind you. Awesome Games Done Quick, the annual speedrunning marathon that takes place at the beginning of each year, is coming under criticism after granting airtime to Luzbelheim, a runner who has expressed transphobic, nationalist and otherwise discriminatory sentiments online. Luzbelheim, along with Tojju and Muttski, ran through Final Fantasy VIII over the course of just over nine hours. One runner would hand the controller off to the next in line, relay-style, following the completion of their third of the game....

Following investigations, the National Labour Relations Board (NLRB) has found that Activision Blizzard withheld raises for the QA testers at Raven Software campaigning to form a union. Per The Washington Post, Activision Blizzard and the QA testers from Raven Software will now continue on with their negotiations to agree a collective bargaining agreement. However, if the two parties can not settle upon an agreement, the NLRB can issue a complaint against Activision Blizzard....

Activision and Bungie have announced that Destiny 2 has surpassed (by quite a lot, apparently) the digital sales of the first game during its launch week. This feat has lead to the game becoming the ‘#1 console gaming launch week of the year to date,’ according to Activision’s CEO, Eric Hirshberg. Hirshberg didn’t provide any sales figures to backup his claims, but he did say that the game had also achieved the largest ever day one sales on the PlayStation Store....
