Activision Blizzard Studios, a new film and television studio which will create original content based on the firm’s iconic intellectual property, has been launched. Former Disney executive Nick van Dyk will co-head the division along with a senior creative executive who will be announced soon. Activision is rumored to be working towards replacing Destiny with a new intellectual property. The game’s developers, Bungie, split with the publishing magnate earlier this year and are running the franchise on their own. According to a reliable leaker, the popular looter shooter could have a new game pop up in the spot it’s since deserted.
