A new staff group within Activision Blizzard has been formed to fight for worker rights. The Worker Committee Against Sex and Gender Discrimination has been founded by 12 current and former staff members, including high-profile ABetterABK member Jessica Gonzalez, and has presented a list of demands to embattled boss Bobby Kotick, The Washington Post reported. Issues raised include improvements to private breastfeeding areas, an end to undocumented meetings with HR, improved support for transgender employees, two weeks extra paid time off for parental leave (up to 12 weeks), and the need for independent investigations into allegations of discrimination....

Today Yostar released a new trailer of its upcoming mobile game developed by the studio behind Azur Lane. The trailer stars one of the game’s heroines, Verthandi, as she sends a video message to perspective players, talking about herself, the game, the ongoing pre-registration campaign, and more. Hot on the heels of the unveiling of Peyton Hillis as the cover athlete for Madden 12, EA Sports has a released one of the first gameplay trailers for the game. In just over a month the PS3 version of Mass Effect 2 will hopefully be hitting store shelves. A few weeks ago, Disney announced that one of the showcases that will be present during D23 this year would be focused on video games, with the event being called the Disney and Marvel Games showcase. This particular showcase will take place on Sept. 9, 2022, the first day of the convention. While there have been some games announced to be appearing during the event, these are possibly not all that will be featured, but only time will tell on what will be making an appearance....
