The Splinter Cell Classic Trilogy HD brings us the original Splinter Cell, the sequel Pandora Tomorrow, and Chaos Theory, all of which currently have a Metacritic rating of 90 or higher. If your only experience with Sam Fisher has been recent games like Splinter Cell: Conviction, this is a great chance to see how the series began. No mention has been made regarding the multiplayer portion of Pandora Tomorrow or Chaos Theory’s co-op missions, but hopefully Ubisoft will include those modes in some form....

Hopefully you didn’t like the sound of being an Xbox Live SILVER Member, because Microsoft will soon be making a change. According to a tweet from Graemehe Boyd, Xbox’s Community Manager in Europe (think of him as a European version of our Major Nelson), the new title being given to the free version of Xbox Live is “Xbox Live Free Membership”. It seems, however, that the tweet has since been removed, so I guess Microsoft wasn’t quite ready to reveal that information quite yet....

The gaming industry moves at a rapid pace. As the industry continues to grow and new franchises are created, old franchises are often left in the wake, dropped by the creators and publishers that once supported them. Whether it’s because of poor sales, lack of interest, or just because the creators unable to find support for the IP, it can be tough for a franchise to survive out there. Dead By Daylight is a multiplayer horror game with a steady playerbase, still going strong years after its launch with tournaments, daily challenges, and special events. The concept of the game is simple. Four survivors and one killers are loaded into a match (either randomly or with friends!) and the goal of the survivors is to escape. The goal of the killer is to sacrifice them all to a creepy spider god (the Entity) that comes down from the sky and grabs the survivors from the hooks the killer has to mount them on....
