This All American review contains spoilers. All American Season 2, Episode 7 Daniel Ezra said this episode was the hardest episode he’s ever had to film and, watching it, it’s easy to understand what he meant. On the most basic level, it meant that Spencer would make us ugly cry once again and he did just that. I can’t believe how underrated this show is. It’s one of the best shows out there now because of the way it depicts so many relatable situations that happen in everyday life, with all kinds of families....

HBO’s the last of us has taken the brilliant world of the TLOU video game franchise and brought its story to life with a TV adaptation. Thankfully for fans of the video games, the show follow’s the plot of the game very closely, including all of the unique names given to identify characters, organizations, and species within the post-apocalyptic world. Keeping all this in mind, you may just be wondering what the zombies are called in HBO’s adaptation of The Last of Us....

Some pre-order bonuses have appeared on the official website for Batman: Arkham City today. Killzone 3 isn’t releasing for a couple more months but one question on multiplayer fans’ minds is whether or not a certain nagging issue present in the previous game has been fixed this time around: controller lag. In Killzone 2, gamers noted problems with the game recognizing their button presses in a timely manner and not always feeling like their analog controls were directing their character. Traditional JRPGs have had something of a renaissance in recent years. Games like Dragon Quest XI, Ni No Kuni, Tales of Berseria, Xenoblade, Persona 5, and the upcoming Final Fantasy VII Remake have brought the genre back into favor with gamers and critics. After the success of Clash of Clans and Boom Beach, Supercell released Clash Royale for mobile phones and tablets in 2016. Fans of Supercell took to the new game immediately. As charming a game as The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening Remake is, there are still things about the game that are downright confusing. Square Enix’s Kingdom Hearts 3 is a blend between Final Fantasy and Disney. As a game with one of the most complicated storylines, it’s surprising to learn that Kingdom Hearts is a game targeted towards kids. Whether you understand the grand plot of the series or not, there are short stories in each Kingdom Hearts world that everyone can follow. Kingdom Hearts 3 is by no means perfect. Several overarching flaws make the gameplay (for some) a little dull and repetitive....

As video games have become more and more mainstream, the amount of people who play them has risen exponentially. That’s…. well, kind of what mainstream means —so this totally checks out. Along with that, then, comes a great diversity among types of gamer and the games that they play. Sure, we’ve got the guys and gals who only play FPS titles, and possibly only Call of Duty at that. They’re happy there, raging until they burst their bowels and defending their precious K/Ds and everything, and that’s great for them....

The ending sequence is where a lot of video games drop the ball. Mass Effect 3 might be the chief example of this, as the choices you made throughout a trilogy of games were condensed into picking from three different options that each corresponded to an ending. You also have games with confusing endings, like Final Fantasy VII, or games with endings that only exist to set up sequels, like Halo 2....

Oh, Kingdom Hearts 3. Many fans along with myself eagerly awaited its release on January 29th, and then played through it to get the story and many of the extra details that come with the completion of the game. The story itself is pretty satisfactory and not only wraps up the last decade of games but brings the franchise into a new era. This is your spoiler warning.
