The Witcher has many outstanding aspects contributing to its breakout success on Netflix, not least of all its musical score. The first season is full of engaging characters, plots, and battle sequences that have earned the show a huge following. The riveting swordplay and key plot points are emphasized by an equally enthralling accompaniment, while more uplifting musical interludes are provided by the bard Jaskier. Given all the atmospheric instrumentals worked into the background along with Jaskier’s witty compositions, its only fitting to acknowledge some of the biggest hits that set the various tones across The Continent....

It feels like there’s been an awful lot of horror at this year’s Game Fest thing in Los Angeles. Today Xbox got in on the act opening its showcase with a proper look at Redfall, the co-op shooter about blasting vampires and cultists. Redfall’s the work of Arkane Austin, and today’s overview mixed up a bit of gameplay with a look at the playable characters. We start approaching a spooky church and then head up into the spire where vampires are leaping about....

Alongside this news is a never-before-seen epilogue chapter that will be included in the 10th Anniversary Memorial book and the revival of the fan-favorite Haikyu!! stage play. Plenty of indie games deal with anxiety and depression, but few contain such raw and mighty anguish as A Space for the Unbound. Following a group of teenagers through the difficulties of school life and beyond - beyond in space as much as time - it’s appropriately awkward at times, rushing over-eagerly in some areas, dawdling for far too long in others and frequently figuring it out as it goes. Activision has published its third fiscal quarter report and shows that the Call of Duty franchise is doing very well in 2019 (via Twinfinite). Even though net revenue and earnings per share have dipped year-on-year, Activision Blizzard chief executive officer Bobby Kotick stated that the results ‘exceeded our prior outlook’. The expression “get rich or die trying” is a perfect way to sum up bounty hunting in Fortnite. Players have been enjoying this PvP hunting mechanic for several seasons now. Aside from it being fun to hunt down enemies that know they have targets on their backs, there’s also a monetary reward for successfully completing bounty contracts. Players can receive 150 gold bars by successfully killing targets or remaining elusive for the duration of the hunt....
