Activision is currently battling to contain a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 gameplay leak that popped up online last night. The campaign gameplay appears to have originated from Twitter account @3rbbcod. It shows new vehicle mechanics, including hijacking, leaping from vehicle to vehicle and vehicle destruction. These new mechanics, already discussed by principal Modern Warfare 2 developer Infinity Ward, are also coming to battle royale Warzone 2. The original tweet that contained the gameplay leak was disabled “in response to a report by the copyright holder”....

According to Thomas Tippl, Activision’s COO, the company rewarded Infinity Ward handsomely with “millions of dollars”. In a move that can only be described as mildly perturbing, Agents of Mayhem developer Volition has ‘leaked’ a sex tape featuring the character Rod Stone, aka Hollywood, onto YouPorn. The so-called sex tape is called ‘Deep Under the Covers’ was uploaded onto YouPorn on July 20. It shows Agents of Mayhem characters in a variety of provocative situations. Amusingly, Mayhem, the fictional group in the game, has released a statement about the leak to The Daily Star....
Things are not looking great for the sequel to 2018’s Tomb Raider film adaptation, which starred Alicia Vikander as a young Lara Croft searching for her father on the island of Yamati. As a result, a “host of Hollywood movie studios” are currently making bids on the rights to the film, with insiders revealing that this has resulted in Alicia Vikander being removed from the project. Instead, any future Tomb Raider films will be a “complete reboot”, and, as it currently stands, there are “no casting or director commitments” attached....

A listing for something called ‘Ubisoft Pass’ has been spotted on the Ubisoft store, sparking speculation that a new subscription service could be coming from the French publisher. The listing was spotted by a member of the Resetera forum (and reported by VG24/7) and was for an ‘Ubisoft Pass Premium’. Specifically, it was found in and Ubisoft Subscription category, though both the listing and said category have since been removed. There’s no official word yet from Ubisoft as to what this listing is or to what it pertains, though given E3 is right around the corner, it’s probably a fair guess there’ll be more information then....

You can even call returning seasons of a TV show, sequels. I think the big reason why is because we all need money.
