The beloved 90s movie Twister is spinning its way back into theaters nearly 30 years after its original release. But instead of receiving a re-release in theaters, a full-blown sequel called Twisters is set to release in the summer of 2024. Director Lee Issac Chung and writer Mark L. Smith are the tag team that is on board to create the long-awaited sequel. Chung is known for directing the critically acclaimed Minari, which received several Oscar nominations, while Smith was one of the co-writers for The Revenant; the film that finally earned Leonardo DiCaprio his first Oscar....

Alan Wake 2, announced last December, isn’t ready to step out from the shadows just yet. Remedy Entertainment has confirmed that there will be no trailer or demo for Alan Wake 2 this summer, but promises that “development is going really well.” On the cusp of the original game’s 12-year anniversary, the Remedy crew also dropped a video celebrating the series. Creative Director Sam Lake, and the two parts of Alan, sat together to chat Alan Wake 2 development, and shared some concept art....

Sales in the Alan Wake franchise have passed 4.5 million units, Remedy CEO Matias Myllyrinne has revealed. The figure is expected to include sales of the original Alan Wake and downloadable spin-off Alan Wake’s American Nightmare. Despite the series’ success, however, Remedy has yet to confirm plans for the future, teasing last September that it would return to the franchise “when the time is right”. The developer’s next title, Quantum Break, is due to launch exclusively on Xbox One later this year....
