Agents of SHIELD Season 7 Episode 6 Failure is such a powerful narrative tool, mostly because viewers don’t expect things to go so spectacularly wrong even when the heroes are technically winning. Such is the case with this week’s Agents of SHIELD which has Daisy barely escaping with her life and Coulson sacrificing himself, achieving measures of success indirectly despite heavy losses. Even Mack foiling the Chronicom’s infiltration by jettisoning his fake parents is a victory of sorts even though the supposed rescue mission itself was an obvious bust....

Pre-Season content has finally been released after it was initially delayed. We did expect the release to be 6 PM BST / 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET on the 20/08, however, EA kicked off the promotion a few hours later. It seems like the fighting game party that is Marvel vs. Capcom 3 just won’t stop. First there was some DLC that introduced new characters, and now comes two more pieces of DLC: the previously announced Shadow Mode that expands the gameplay experience, and a costume pack that skins up a few of the title’s notable characters. Shadow Mode has been detailed before, but for those needing a quick refresher, the mode essentially creates a virtual representation of any player that Capcom programs into the title....

Sonic Generations wasn’t announced very long ago, and no one knows much about the game other than the fact that players will switch back and forth between the classic pudgy version of Sonic the Hedgehog and the newer, slender, and generally more badass looking one. One thing we did manage to grab from the trailer was that Sonic Generations was only slated to be hitting retail for both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 at some point later this year, but a financial report from Sega seems to indicate that the new game may be coming to a few more platforms....

Warzone Mobile was further teased this week, with a brand new trailer and more details promised in the run up to a huge CODNEXT event on September 15. The game will support 120 players and be exclusively a battle royale. It is also looking increasingly likely it’ll see action return to original map, Verdansk. While there is no official release date yet, those hoping to get some ‘Warzone Mobile’ action may have stumbled across a similarly-named game on the App Store....

It has been a long time coming but Sega has finally released the remastered Yakuza 3 on the PlayStation 4. With Yakuza 4 and Yakuza 5 to follow in October 2019 and February 2020 respectively.
