A new leak for an upcoming Tom Clancy game has surfaced. As posted by Twitter user ZeroBytes, the leak is for a Tom Clancy PvP game codenamed BattleCat. It’s a first-person shooter that is still in early development. As such, it will not feature at Ubisoft Forward, Ubisoft’s E3 event, later this week. BattleCat will be a combination of three existing Tom Clancy franchises, Splinter Cell, Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, and The Division....

Though the multiplayer shooter genre has grown predictable over the years, there are a few standout titles coming soon they are attempting to put their own spin on some classic multiplayer modes. F.E.A.R. 3, for example, is forgoing the idea of multiplayer deathmatches in favor of smaller modes that alternate between cooperative and competitive objectives. The upcoming movie based on the Doom video games has been delayed to the end of 2019, due to Universal Pictures wanting to give the VFX team more time to improve the CGI in the sequences set in Hell. Dread Central has reported that Universal 1440 (the branch of Universal Pictures that is producing the film) has given the OK for the Doom delay, as they are so impressed by the product that they want to spend more time to improve the special effects before it’s released....

Nintendo’s latest fitness craze is Ring Fit Adventure, a fitness RPG where players use daily workouts to lead a campaign against a buff demon and his monster army. The true star of the experience, however, is the Ring-Con controller the game comes bundled with. It’s a simple plastic ring, and accompanying leg strap, but it can take a lot of punishment. Players are meant to squeeze it, twist it, pull it (but sadly not bop it), and it stands up to the abuse....

Speaking during Activision Blizzards’ Q1 earnings call last night, CEO Michael Griffith labelled upcoming Infinity Ward sequel, Modern Warfare 2, “the must-have title of the year”. “… we plan to release what we expect will be the must-have title of the year, Infinity Ward’s highly anticipated Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 on November 10th,” said Griffith. “When the original Modern Warfare was introduced two years ago, it set a new bar for first person action games....

Calus Bobblehead locations in Destiny 2 are collectables introduced in Season of the Haunted.
