Overwatch 2 fans will now be able to acquire Blizzard’s next bunch of Twitch Drops for the game, with the Lunar New Year freebies having already arrived.

As is now par for the course, fans on games consoles and PC will be able to earn rewards simply by watching their favourite streamers play the game for a set number of hours.

This will mark the third set of Twitch Drops for the game in Season 2 so far – which started with a Legendary skin for new hero, Ramattra.

Overwatch 2 Twitch Drops – What can I get?

Blizzard has finally confirmed exactly what you’ll be able to get according to an official post. The Twitch Drops for the Lunar New Year event will include Moira’s Lion Roars Victory Pose for watching 2 hours, and a Legendary Mask Dancer Moira skin for watching a further 4 hours.

Usually, the time watched doesn’t have to be the same channel, so you can spend one hour in one channel, and five in another for example – as long as both channels are playing Overwatch.

Time is accumulative, so Twitch should remember your progress and you don’t have to do all six hours in one sitting either. Bear in mind though, that you must claim the Pose before you’re eligible for the skin.

According to the previous Blizzard blog, you’ll have to make sure your hours are logged between January 11 at 11:00am PST (7pm UK time) and January 25 at 11:00am PST. (That’s 7pm in the UK.)

Overwatch 2 Twitch Drops – Ramatta Drops

Previously, you could get a Ramattra Restrained Spray by watching any stream in Twitch’s Overwatch 2 category for a total of two hours.

Once players claimed this, watching a further four hours netted them the Traveling Monk Legendary Ramattra Skin.

Overwatch 2 Winter Wonderland Twitch Drops

The second set of drops for Season 2 were themed around the Winter Wonderland limited time event, that will take us through the end of the year.

The Festive D.Va Victory Pose was granted after two hours, and the Sleighing D.Va Legendary Skin after a further four hours, so a total of six hours were required to earn both cosmetics.

In addition, players also got a free Festive Wreath weapon charm and 2023 player icon just by logging in between those dates.
