“Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi” is a title that for many of us, will have us quoting Obi-Wan’s famous reply, “Now that’s a name I’ve not heard in a long time. A long time.” This is because, years before Bioware released their seminal “Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic” videogame. Dark Horse Comics published the very first “Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi” stories in a comic series that became a landmark moment in Star Wars history as it gave fans our first glimpse at the history of the Jedi and the Sith as well as giving us the first ever mention of the Sith homeworld, Korriban, a location that would memorably appear in both the “Knights of the Old Republic” video game, and the “Star Wars: The Clone Wars” animated series. As, over the course of 5 years of comics, fans were introduced to iconic Jedi heroes such as Ulic-Qel Droma, Cay Qel-Droma, Nomi Sunrider, and Tott Doneeta. In addition to being introduced to equally iconic Sith such as Exar Qun (the first character to ever be seen wielding a double bladed lightsaber), Freedom Nadd, and Naga Sadow. All characters whose presence and influence still resonate throughout the Star Wars universe today. Now, “Tales of the Jedi”, makes a welcome return to the Star Wars universe as 6 animated shorts that will give fans brand new stories centered on Count Dooku, Qui-Gon Jinn, and Ahsoka. Now Read: Star Wars: The Acolyte – Latest News, Everything We Know So Far Latest Home Entertainment And Monitor Deals:
